Background and training

Simon has been practising psychology since 2010. After completing the Doctorate of Clinical and Forensic Psychology at Monash University, he worked at Monash Medical Centre, the Victorian Institute of Forensic Mental Health (Forensicare), Swinburne University, and the Acute Assessment Unit at MAP, before founding Clarity Psychology in 2014.

As a forensic psychologist, Simon also prepares independent psychological reports for Australian courts, including pre-sentence assessments and fitness to stand trial evaluations.

Simon takes a person-centred, non-judgemental approach and uses only evidence-based treatment. He has a passion for helping people succeed within difficult circumstances and providing them with the tools to live a rich, full and meaningful life.
