NDIS psychologist Northcote — closer than the city.
For NDIS participants in Northcote, our Carlton clinic is a shorter, simpler trip than the CBD — around ten minutes by car, or a direct bus from the St Georges Road corridor to Lygon Street.
We welcome self-managed and plan-managed participants, with sessions fully covered by your NDIS funding and therapy shaped around your plan goals.
Check this first — it takes ten seconds.
How your NDIS plan is managed determines whether we can work together, so let's settle it upfront:
✓ Self-managed or plan-managed
We'd be glad to see you. Your psychology sessions are fully covered by your NDIS funding — typically under Improved Daily Living supports in your Capacity Building budget — and invoicing is arranged to suit how your plan is managed.
✕ Agency-managed (NDIA-managed)
Unfortunately we can't see you — as we are not an NDIS-registered provider, agency-managed participants need a registered provider. The NDIS provider finder can help you locate one.
Not sure how your plan is managed? It's on the front pages of your plan document — or call us and we'll help you work it out, no obligation.

Therapy that works toward your NDIS goals.
Northcote participants work with us on goals across the board — from anxiety and emotional regulation to trauma recovery and building daily-living strategies, including neurodiversity-affirming support for Autistic adults and adults with ADHD.
Common areas we support NDIS participants with include anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, trauma, OCD, and the psychological side of living with disability — including for Autistic adults and adults with ADHD, with neurodiversity-affirming assessment available at our St Kilda clinic.
Therapy is tailored to your plan goals, and where it's useful for plan reviews, your psychologist can prepare progress reports documenting the work and its outcomes.

Frequently asked questions.
Do you have a clinic in Northcote itself?
Our nearest clinic is in Carlton — about ten minutes away, closer than the city for most of Northcote. Telehealth is also available if travel is a barrier.
Is Clarity an NDIS-registered provider?
No — and for self-managed and plan-managed participants, that makes no practical difference: your funding covers our sessions in full. It only matters if your plan is agency-managed (NDIA-managed), in which case you'll need a registered provider instead.
Do I need a GP referral or Mental Health Treatment Plan?
Not for NDIS-funded sessions — you can book directly. (A Mental Health Treatment Plan relates to Medicare rebates, which is a separate funding pathway.)
How does invoicing work?
Simply. If you're plan-managed, we invoice your plan manager directly. If you're self-managed, we provide compliant invoices for you to claim through the NDIS portal. Either way, our admin team sets it up with you at the start.
Can you provide reports for my plan review?
Yes — where it's useful, your psychologist can prepare progress reports documenting your therapy goals, the work done, and outcomes, which many participants use to support plan reviews.
