Therapy by telehealth.
You don't need to be in the city — or even in Melbourne — to work with one of our psychologists. Telehealth sessions are secure video appointments you can attend from home, the office, or anywhere private, with the same psychologist you'd see in the room.
Same care, same fees, same Medicare rebates. For people outside Melbourne, for busy weeks, or simply for the days when leaving the house is the hard part.
When telehealth makes sense.
You're outside Melbourne
Regional or interstate clients can work with our psychologists without travelling — quality care isn't limited to the city.
Your schedule is tight
No commute, no waiting room. A session fits into a lunch break or the quiet hour before the day begins.
Leaving home is hard
For anxiety, chronic illness, caring responsibilities, or low days, being seen from home can make all the difference.
You've moved or travel often
Keep seeing the same psychologist wherever you are, so your care doesn't restart every time life shifts.
Getting started with telehealth.
Book your session
Book online or call us. If you'd like to claim a Medicare rebate, have your Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral from your GP ready.
We send your link
You'll receive a secure video link before your appointment — no special software, just a private space and a stable connection.
Meet your psychologist
Your session runs exactly as it would in person — the same psychologist, the same focused hour.
Rebate processed
We process any Medicare rebate after your session, paid directly into your bank account.
Same rebates as in-personFrequently asked questions.
Is telehealth as effective as in-person therapy?
For most people and most concerns, telehealth works very well, and research supports it as a strong alternative to in-person sessions. Your psychologist can talk through whether it's the right fit for your situation.
Can I claim a Medicare rebate for telehealth?
Yes — eligible telehealth sessions attract the same Medicare rebate as in-person sessions, with a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP. See our Medicare page for detail.
What do I need for a session?
A private, quiet space, a device with a camera, and a stable internet connection. We'll send a secure link beforehand — there's nothing to install.
Do NDIS, TAC and WorkCover cover telehealth?
Can I switch between telehealth and in-person?
Absolutely. Many clients mix the two — coming into Carlton or St Kilda some weeks and meeting by video others, with the same psychologist throughout.
