How NDIS psychology works at Clarity Psychology

If you’re self-managed

Self-managed participants can choose any provider. At Clarity, the process is simple:

  1. Book your appointment (Carlton or St Kilda, or telehealth).
  2. Pay the session fee on the day.
  3. Claim your rebate through the NDIS portal using the invoice we provide.
  4. small gap may apply between our fee and your NDIS funding.

Self-managed participants can usually choose to pay above the NDIS price limit if they wish. Our team will explain fees clearly before you start.

If you’re plan-managed

Plan-managed participants can also choose unregistered providers. We will:

  1. Invoice your plan manager directly with all required details.
  2. Bill in line with current NDIS Pricing Arrangements for psychology supports.
  3. Work with you and your plan manager on any service agreement and scheduling.

For plan-managed participants, fees must align with the NDIS price limits. We’ll discuss the exact fee before your first session.

NDIA-managed (agency-managed) participants generally need to see an NDIS-registered provider. If that’s you, contact us and we’ll help you understand your options.

Fees and transparency

  • We’ll provide clear, itemised invoices that meet NDIS requirements.
  • Self-managed: a modest gap may apply.
  • Plan-managed: billed at or below NDIS price limits; no NDIS-funded gap beyond the price cap.
  • Our admin team will outline costs for your situation before your first appointment.

Telehealth available across Victoria
